Gaia was trained in postpartum care within the ayurvedic lineage. She cooks, cleans, massages, and holds space for the new mother during her sacred window - the first 6 weeks after birth. This period of time is dedicated to nourishing the mother so that she can nourish the baby. We also work to re-ground and slowly re-intigrate the parent with grace and ease.
Gaia cooks deeply nourishing and doshic-appropriate foods and uses abhyanga, oil massage, to help with soothing, balancing, and grounding.
She also uses her skills as a therapist to gently hold tender emotions, when the support is desired and needed.
Services
Full Sacred Window Care ~ Live-in help for the 6 weeks postpartum; 8 hours a day, 5 days a week; includes all meals, abhyanga, cleaning, and emotional support
$1,200/week or $30/hr
In-home accomodation
Partial Sacred Window Care ~ 4 hour visits 2-4 days a week for the first 6 weeks postpartum.
$160/ visit or $40/hour
1 time calls for abhyanaga oil massage, meal prep, or space holding
Abhyanga - $70/hour
All other forms of care - $45/hour
